CSIR UGC NET The NETB University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research.
	CET The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility / merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates for courses in Medical, Engineering and others.
	COMEDK COMEDK is independant of the government conducted CET and is used to fill management quota seats of certain engineering/medical/dental colleges in Karnataka.
	GATE The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an All-India Examination conducted for admission to Postgraduate Programs Engineering at the National level.
